The menu centers around tori katsu, a breaded, fried chicken classic served with a variety of savory sauces like rich curry and hearty bratensauce. These dishes come generous in portion, perfectly paired with fluffy rice and crisp cabbage salad, creating a balanced and satisfying meal. The Sauer Scharf Suppe brings a pleasantly sour and spicy kick, a nice complement to the heavier katsu plates. Meanwhile, the karaage wings stand out for their crispiness and juicy interior—a favorite among regulars for a reason.

The server quickly got us a table and was super friendly and helpful. He recommended the chicken wings and they were amazing! Perfectly crispy and juicy and full of flavor. The Katsu‘s were amazing, great value, all sauces were delicious and I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Stumbled on this hidden gem while walking. Noticed quite a few people waiting for food. We gave it a shot and we were not let down! Delicious food. My partner had the rice & fried chicken, seems to be their classic and most popular dish. With a gravy on top..I had the Katsu ramen. Sitting in the little eating area felt like I was in Japan! Highly recommend. We couldn't speak any German or Japanese but they got our orders right!

Saw people posting this place on tik tok & decided to try it when I went to Berlin. Late lunch. Superb! I don't really like gravy on my rice, so I just ordered the tori katsu with no sauce, a portion of sauerkaut & my friend wanted just the wanton soup. 3 items came up to €10.50. Tasty, value for $ & quick service.

Like years ago in Berlin. I can only agree with many other reviews: You get a fair amount of food for the price you pay. The quality is OK/Good (nothing great or amazing in my opinion). However, 2 x katsu with rice, 1 coleslaw salad, 2 sauces (curry is the winner for me), and a small still water, all of it 18,80€. This is what you would pay in Berlin in 2018/2019, very good price. I might go back to taste other dishes.

So glad I found this place! It’s tucked away on a quiet street but the venue is anything but. Busy, loud, crowded — comes as a package to the very satisfying katsu, rice, and choice of sauces. 10/10 for the food and atmosphere; will be back!

Very nice place. It’s cheap here. The service is very fast. Dish number 80 is excellent. The soy sauce added to the dishes is not overly salty. The chicken is super juicy. The vegetables are very fresh. We are very happy with this place and would gladly come back here.
